I ended up taking about 15 different series of exposures as the moon went up. So when I started looking through the negatives, it was difficult trying to decide at which place I wanted the moon. I ended up settling on just above the horizon. That is the one that I thought conveyed the most action. For the color one I left the meadow in at the bottom where the deer are frolicking. But for the black and white (achieved with the built-in Lightroom preset called “Red Filter High-Contrast”) I took it out because without the color the bright meadow slightly offensive to the eye.
