Average Sunrise Outside Yangshuo
I have been trying to remind myself to look out the window when I am cars, buses, and planes. For some reason I always look out the window on trains, but I forget to on all other transport modes. I usually open up my computer or a book and just dive right in. But how much beauty am I missing with that approach!
This photograph was taken on a bus from Yangshuo to Longji Mountain Village. I just loved the scene. For whatever reason it reminded me of Ansel Adams famous “Moonrise” scene. When taking pictures outside of a moving bus or train or car or whatever…just make sure you set the shutter speed to maximum so things don’t get blurry.
I used Topaz Labs Spicify to add the original coloring look. Then I used a few color filters and gradients in Photoshop to add some finishing touches. Finally, for the master touch, I added some sunrays to make it a touch more interesting. What can I say? While most of the world saw the scene on top, I saw the one shown below.
