The Samsung Building at Night, China, Shanghai
The definition of Panorama for photographic purposes can be a little bit sneaky. It does not necessarily mean a photo that is has one side much much longer than another. It can also mean just a really large view. This panorama fits the second version. It’s square, but it offers an unobstructed and expansive view of the Samsung Building in Peoples Square. Two different pictures were shot and then combined in Lightroom’s Merge to Panorama in Photoshop. Then I ran it through Topaz Labs Adjust software to add the blur and the vignetting. One last little tid bit, this was all done with the JPG files from my camera and not the RAW files. Why? Because when I set the settings to capture a lot of saturation and sharpness, the camera processor actually does a better job than a post processing piece of software would to get what I want.
