Light Streams into Hoa Lu Temple, Vietnam
This is the exact shot that was produced from my camera and recorded as a JPG. Could have I shot in RAW and done all this in Lightroom, Aperture, and/or Photoshop and achieved the same look? Yeah. But why waste my time? Less time in front of a computer equals more time behind a camera.
Oh, and the shot? There are a couple of extremely sneaky photography tricks. One of my favorite to capture Light streams is to make sure to add particles to the air. I usually do this by lighting an incense stick (which is what I did here). Another sneaky way is to start kicking up dirt and dust that’s on the ground.
