Cruising Down the Li River into the Sunrise
I almost always take 5 bracketed photos at -2, -1, 0, +1, and +2. Why? Because it’s free on a digital camera and disk storage is cheap. I never used to mess around like that on film. Here is the +1 exposure from my 5 shot burst. I love how it makes the sun appear so large.
Originally, the photo didn’t quite look like this. I photoshopped the three boats in (taken from a different wide angle shot) to give that Star Wars zooming into the scene intro shot. I also added a little bit of symmetry with the top left mountain. Then of course I went to Lightroom to give some surreal color.
